Minuteman Press located on Main Street in Lansdale was recently featured in a write-up in the Pennsylvania Business Reporter! Owner Doug DiPasqaule has run the center for over eight years now and cites the reason for his success as being the advancement of Minuteman Press into the digital world.

“There is still money in the printing industry. As much as people say they try to go paperless, they don’t: people like to see things in print, and now they can make it on their own,” DiPasquale says. “Think of those coupons you still have, or the mailers that might have told you about a new restaurant — any local business can have an ad designed by Minuteman Press, produced, then sent via a local post office to blanket a local area.”

Doug can rattle off bulk mail prices per mail carrier route, plus prices for postage, and the two-to-one return some businesses have seen on their ad dollars because they can hit so many potential customers.

“You’re hitting people that you may not have thought you would hit, and those people may be the buyers. You may write them off, but they will (visit) if they ‘see’ something in print,” says DiPaquale.

Minuteman Press of Lansdale is also moving into web design and online marketing, and our home office is teaching owners like DiPasquale how to create websites that are mobile-device friendly, incorporate online marketing, are optiized for search engines, and set up and hold domain names for anyonwho wants to come in with an idea and leave with a full-spectrum online presence.
