New appointments strengthen Kare Plus franchise support team

Rapidly expanding care franchise Kare Plus has made two significant appointments, strengthening its franchise development team. Sandra Wharton is the new Kare Plus Domiciliary Manager and Paul Wilshaw takes on the role of New Business Manager (Nursing).

Sandra will initially be focussing on the Wolverhampton and West Midlands area, while Paul will be providing support to franchisees across the UK.

Steve Welsh, Kare Plus Managing Director, comments, “Sandra and Paul each bring tremendous experience to our business. It is important to our continued success that we recruit the very best people to provide support for our growing franchise network and help us drive forward with our ambitious plans in both the healthcare and domiciliary sectors. We’re delighted to welcome these two highly professional and well qualified managers as members of the Kare Plus team!”

Sandra, who has spent sixteen years in the domiciliary care sector, has achieved national recognition for her work from the professional association Ceretas, while Paul joins Kare Plus from leading staffing solutions provider Medacs Healthcare. In his eight years in the medical sector has worked in Europe and South America, as well as in the UK. Paul’s new role will include business development on a national and regional basis, helping negotiate and secure contracts for franchisees from the NHS.

“This is an exciting time to join Kare Plus,” Paul concludes. “Although the company is well established, it’s in its infancy in terms of the national network. I was attracted by the sheer scope and prospects for business growth – the opportunity to be part of it was simply to good to miss!”
