NLP4Kids is delighted to announce their first edition of an inspiring book called “Stop Anxiety and Grow Confidence’. The book is currently being pre-ordered at a fast rate and the publication date will be 1 October 2016. We are delighted to know that this book can act as guidance for parents and teachers in order to help them with children who suffer anxiety and confidence challenges.

It is clear that mental health concerns in children and young people are on the increase and we at NLP4Kids believe that the most vulnerable group is suffering from emotional challenges in their daily lives. Children’s lives evolve around their parents and their teachers.

We at NLP4Kids believe that the ‘Stop Anxiety and Grow Confidence’ book can offer parents and teachers a perspective on how the issue has increased and how it can lead to a bigger issue, if we fail to do something. We acknowledge that parents may find it hard to cope and support a child who may be suffering from anxiety, depression or stress.

Therefore, the book contains NLP4Kids case studies and a variety of techniques and guidance to support parents and teachers through a difficult time with a child. In addition, the book also contains a ‘Communication’ section with details about how to improve mental well-being. NLP4Kids believe that mental health issues and other emotional challenges will not decrease unless we take action and acknowledge they are present.

The author, Gemma Bailey, is the Director of NLP4Kids. She has many years of experience with children and was once a nursery manager. Since then she learned and used them for helping children overcome anxiety, depression and low self-esteem. Gemma trains and mentors all the NLP4Kids team, she continues our own coaching practice and delivers workshops in schools across the UK for pupils, parents and teachers.

Gemma was inspired to write this book when she was holding several webinars during the summer on confidence, anxiety, communication skills and mental well-being. When holding the webinars, Gemma realised the extent of the emotional challenges present in society today. She knew that she couldn’t help the world, but by producing a book she could at least help a certain amount of parents and teachers; which will have a
substantial effect for children who are suffering and need guidance and support. NLP4Kids believe that any good deed shouldn’t go without notice. In addition, Gemma also included questions and answers at the end of each subject area which gives the reader a good direction and explains what they can do for their child.

The book will make readers conscious of the skills that they possess to help children and young people who are suffering with emotional challenges. This is not a complicated book; it contains clear techniques and guidance for parents and teachers. We tend not to complicate things when it comes to parents and professionals, as they feel a huge pressure on them. We want to lift that pressure and help them to help young people.
