Last month, Just Cuts snipped its way into Southside shopping centre in spectacular style and delivered over 100 haircuts to their new clients on grand opening day.

The Australian hair brand cut the ribbon to their new salon on March 28^th and immediately chopped through their first-day target of 75.

Just Cuts has gelled their innovative salon in the heart of Wandsworth and introduced the idea of the no-appointment necessary to the local residents. Salon owner and local mum, Magda Deaconescu, was thrilled with how the day turned out.

“Both myself and my husband, Costi, were slightly nervous the night before as we didn’t know what to expect. But as soon as the ribbon was cut at 9am, the salon was full – which was an amazing feeling. We had some really positive feedback from customers and a few of them even returned the next day just to say hello! It’s safe to say it was a successful launch.”

The first 30 customers through the doors were treated to a free Style Cut delivered by one of the fully-trained Stylists. The buzz of the new salon quickly began to resonate throughout the whole shopping centre, with people stopping by and taking a peak at what the latest addition has to offer.

The Wandsworth salon is just the beginning of the journey for Just Cuts in the UK. Magda was joined by the Australian team who flew over from Sydney for the launch, so they didn’t miss out on any of the action on grand opening day. They were there to offer moral support to Magda and the team, but she was quick to realise that all she wants is more.

“I’m very excited to be offered the opportunity to have more than one of my own salons. I’m already getting ready to open another within the next couple of months. I’d previously stressed my enthusiasm to get another site up and running, but the success of Wandsworth really brought it home for me! We’re now looking at spaces in Walton-on-Thames for our second salon!”
