Leading Pizza franchise, Papa John’s, has opened a new store in Worcester. The outlet, which will employ around 15 staff, is run by Papa John’s franchisee Jitesh Patel, who has also recently opened up in Selly Oak and runs six further franchised stores across the Midlands and Leicestershire with his sister Nisha.

“With a population of around 100,000 people, Worcester is an ideal location for Papa John’s,” explains Anthony Round, Papa John’s business development manager. “The area has a mixed demographic and is home to one of the UK’s fastest growing universities. We have been delighted to support Jitesh Patel with his latest venture, which now allows him to offer Papa John’s renowned top quality pizza to Worcester’s local community.”

Papa John’s is the only branded pizza chain to use only 100% fresh dough, giving a better natural flavour and a unique tomato sauce that is made from the best Californian tomatoes, picked and packed from vine to can in just six hours.

“We have seen significant expansion in the UK and by the end of 2013 will have 250 Papa John’s outlets around the country,” continues Round. “We aim to continue this momentum and deliver on our promise to increase this to 600 Papa John’s stores over the next ten years. For this reason, we are actively recruiting new franchisees and particularly encouraging ambitious individuals, like Jitesh Patel, who are keen to run multiple Papa John’s stores.
