A local recruitment consultant has called on the expertise of branded products specialist and fellow local business, Recognition Express Newbury, to create a unique way of praising and rewarding its staff.

The Basingstoke-based independent recruitment consultant, Wote Street Employment Bureau met local businessman, Keith Burr, at a networking event. It was here Keith suggested personalised mugs as a way to recognise individuals.

Maxine Hart manager at Wote Street Employment Bureau, said: “We were looking for a different way to reward our Temp of the Month, as well as a way to work more closely with other local businesses. Keith suggested mugs as very personalised and unique gifts, so we gave the concept a go.

“The result has been incredible! We have expanded, giving mugs to all those we place in work, so that they can take it with them to their new job. We are now also receiving requests from our clients.

Maxine continued: “It has been very successful. Keith and his team have been really easy to work with, they offer a great service and ensure everything always arrives on time.”
