Signs Express (Peterborough) gets ‘street’ with the local youth community to help young people find their place in society.

As part of the Street Bus scheme, Signs Express (Peterborough) was contacted to quote for full colour graphics to be applied to a bus which would promote the youth scheme throughout the area. As a specialist in large format full colour print, Signs Express was well equipped to produce, laminate and apply the graphics and work alongside a gifted young designer to create the vibrant design.
 
The graphics needed to be applied to all sides of the vehicle. Exact measurements were required so that the graphics could be tiled to ensure that the joins were exactly on the panel joins. The bus was then covered with full colour laminated print and computer cut vinyl as well as the back being applied with one-way contra-vision film making it possible to see out but not in.

The Street Bus will be visiting communities across Peterborough to enable young people to develop holistically and help them to facilitate their personal, social and educational development. It will also help enable them to develop their voice, influence and place in society to reach their full potential. The Street Bus will be equipped with film and music editing facilities, DJ decks, health information as well as information on employment, education and training.
