With increased pressure being placed on the UK’s healthcare system due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the British Franchise Association’s Emerging Franchisor of the Year has launched its new recruitment campaign to support its franchise network’s recruitment activities to help ease the pressure on the NHS.

Radfield Home Care’s governance and operations manager, Jess Jenkinson explains:

Our services have always been tailored to support vulnerable individuals who can often be very isolated without our support. In the current climate, more and more older people will be forced into this situation to protect themselves from COVID-19. As a result, we have opportunities for those looking to give something back during this time and help support those in need within their local community. We also hope we can offer rewarding career opportunities to individuals who may have unfortunately found themselves out of work at this difficult time.”

Focusing on care at-home services to the UK’s ageing population, Radfield Home Care franchise partners recruit teams of carers that provide a range of care services within their local community, from companionship through to palliative care.

Founder of Radfield Home Care Franchising, Dr Hannah MacKechnie hopes the new Become A Hero campaign will be able to support the fantastic work healthcare workers throughout the UK are doing during the pandemic:

“I feel incredibly humbled by the fantastic work of all care assistants, nurses, doctors and healthcare staff throughout the UK right now. They are doing a fantastic and selfless job to combat the coronavirus pandemic and I hope Radfield Home Care’s tremendous care workers are able to further support these efforts throughout the weeks and months ahead.”

With 14 locations throughout the UK, Radfield Home Care’s franchise partners are able to offer employees the organisation’s unique Caring for our Carers™ pledge. This promises fair pay, the opportunity for training and CPD, as well as a supportive work environment that recognises their personal needs.
