Bella’s Angels is an Essex and Suffolk based volunteer group. The group helps to bring the community together to find lost dogs. The Facebook group now has over 250 members, and when they are not out physically searching or leafleting, they are spreading the word online to help reunite dogs with their owners.

When Graham and Jackie Marshall, owners of the Rochford-based business, heard about Bella’s Angels volunteers searching the streets on dark nights they were concerned for their safety, and decided to donate high visibility waistcoats and armbands to the cause.

Graham commented: “Bella’s Angels is a great idea. It’s traumatic to lose your dog at any time, but on these cold wintry nights it’s awful to think of your beloved pet stuck outside in the cold.

“We wanted to keep the volunteers safe so they could keep up their good work and thought that the least we could do would be to donate some safety equipment.”

Sasha Bradford, from Bella’s Angels, said: “Our new high visibility clothing has been a welcome addition and is also a great way to spread the word about what we do. We were proudly sporting our high-vis vests whilst out leafleting members of the public in Chelmsford last week whilst on our search for Molly the Springer Spaniel who is sadly still missing in the area after 15 weeks. We are very grateful to the team at Recognition Express for all of their hard work and support.”

If you would like Bella’s Angels to support you in finding your lost dog, please register your dog as missing on Doglost.co.uk or visit Bella’s Angels Facebook page.

Bella’s Angels urgently need volunteers on the ground to assist with leafleting and searching. If you are interested in joining the group, enjoy a bit of hard work and meeting new friends, please visit Bella’s Angels Facebook or Twitter page.
