Recognition Express Warwick owner Paul McCarthy recently presented the Warwick District Community First Responders with a set of logoed high visibility waistcoats to help their fundraising activities.
Often first on the scene at medical emergencies are the Warwick District Community First Responders, a group of volunteers trained by the Ambulance Service to a nationally accredited level in emergency life saving treatment and advanced First Aid. The organisation has been granted charitable status and Paul, owner of Warwick based promotional and branded product company Recognition Express has supported them from the outset.
Said Paul: “As part of the Warwickshire community I think it is important to help out as much as I can. Warwick District Community First Responders do such a brilliant job I was only too happy to help.
“The waistcoats are less bulky than their uniform jackets and will help the volunteers stand out from the crowd whilst at the same time reassure the public that the man or woman collecting money is a bonafide First Responder.
Because I have my own printing facilities on-site I was able to print up the vests quickly so that the Warwick District Community First Responders could get them distributed as soon as possible for their campaigns”.
The First Responders recently showcased Paul’s waistcoats at a car wash event held in Leamington Spa. They are currently planning more fundraising activities, including bag packing for locals in supermarkets.
The project is being co-ordinated by Hanna Rose De Angeli who is in charge of all fundraising activities for Warwick District Community First Responders. She said: “We have been overwhelmed and delighted by the generosity of people throughout Warwickshire so far and we thank Paul for his on-going support. Our high visibility waistcoats look smart and do just the job whilst we raise money for our charity”.
