Revive! sponsored BTCC Driver Placed Fifth at Halfway Stage

The UK’s leading cosmetic smart repair network, Revive! is sponsoring the Pirtek Racing team in the 2012 British Touring Car Championships (BTCC).

Revive! Franchise Opportunity

At the half way point Pirtek driver Andrew Jordan is in fourth place, having taken and third place in the last of this weekend’s races at the Croft circuit.

In the company’s first foray into the world of motorsport the distinctive red and black Revive! branding is being seen on national television as full coverage is being carried by ITV 4.

Pirtek is racing one of only eight new generation touring cars (NGTC) on the circuit. 24 year old Andrew Jordan is driving its brand new NGTC – spec Honda Civic with a Neal Brown engin, is the same as the Honda Works team car.

Hopes are high for Jordan. His début BTCC season was in 2008 and he made BTCC history by being the youngest ever driver to qualify on pole position. Last year he had one race win, six podiums and four independent wins driving as an independent under the Pirtek banner.

Commenting on the sponsorship Revive! managing director Mark Llewellyn said:

“Andrew has impressed us so far and we’ve had some great days out.

“We’ve worked hard to drive up the image of cosmetic smart repair within the automotive industry. Quality is the key word for us – we run a very professional network of highly skilled technicians and we wanted to link up with a team that shares our commitment to excellence and striving for the best results.

“We’re excited about Pirtek’s new generation touring car and it’s a great opportunity for the Revive! branding to be seen throughout the 2012 season, and we wish Pirtek and Andrew continuing success.”

Revive! specialises in repairing minor scuffs and scrapes to vehicle bodywork and alloy wheels. It has the largest network of smart repairers in the UK and is the first to have ATA accredited technicians. As the preferred supplier of smart repairs to major car dealerships and fleet operators its customers include Alfa Romeo Fiat, Lex Autolease and Mercedes. The company worked closely with the Institute of the Motor Industry to drive up standards within the smart repair industry and as a result has paved the way for smart repair to become a top quality alternative to bodyshops for small areas of damage.
