A new owner has taken over the successful Signs Express franchise in Irvine. Graham Packer has joined the UK’s largest sign network, buying the established business covering Ayrshire.

Trading for over 10 years, Signs Express (Ayrshire) provides a wide range of signs and graphics to businesses across the County. Graham saw the vast potential of the signs and graphics marketplace, buying the business when former owner Bob Ferguson decided to retire. 

Graham who comes from a family of signmakers dating back to 1921 is the 4th generation of his family to enter the Sign Industry and has ambitious plans for the business as he explains, “I have some very exciting plans over the coming year which will involve investment in new technology and refurbishment of the production unit to ensure we continue to offer customers in the area an exceptional service and quality products. We shall also be providing an extended range of products to add to our already comprehensive capabilities. It’s a very exciting time for Signs Express (Ayrshire) and I am looking forward to working with customers old and new.” 

Covering towns such as Ayr, Kilmarnock and Prestwick, Signs Express offers local businesses a one-stop-shop solution for their signs and graphics needs from interior and exterior signs to vehicle graphics, banners, windows and exhibition displays. They are also able to provide advice and support on the best solutions to requirements and have the back-up of a nationwide network of over 75 production centres across the Country for larger companies who are looking for nationwide solutions. 

One such recent project Signs Express (Ayrshire) has been involved in is working with Stagecoach providing vehicle graphics for their extensive fleet. Graham comments, “We are delighted to work with such a well known and prominent national company. Whether they have a new coach coming onto the fleet or need replacement graphics for a vehicle which may have been damaged, we are on hand to provide a professional and time responsive service.” 

Signs Express is based on South Newmoor Industrial Estate in Irvine.
