The Massage Company™, Camberley was crowned Best New Business of the Year 2016 – WINNER in the Collectively Camberley Business Awards 2016 and was a finalist in three other categories.

The Massage Company opened its doors on March 18th 2016 and has embraced the local residential and business community through its marketing activity and social media platforms and this was rewarded with high levels of voting.

Charlie Thompson (Founder, Operations Director and Head of the UK Spa Association) said: “It is great recognition of our massage therapists, front of house staff and centre manager for the great levels of service and skill they provide to our customers every day. We have people visiting us for health reasons, stress, back, shoulder and neck pain and we are improving people’s lives. To be recognised for this after opening only eight months ago is a great achievement which we believe can be replicated in towns and cities across the UK.”

Like all good businesses that change an industry, The Massage Company breaks with the norm in what seems like a very simple concept. They offer a high quality massage at a very affordable price by exceptionally qualified and highly trained staff all available on their premises, which is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., six days a week and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.

The Massage Company has a UK-wide roll out plan and they are currently in discussions with landlords for new sites and franchisees across the country.

The award was presented by Collectively Camberley, a Business Improvement District body which was recently overwhelmingly returned to office in a vote that carries on its activities in the local area for a further five years. Camberley Businesses have invested over £1.3 million over five years to increase footfall, improve business performance and make Camberley Town Centre a brighter, busier, and better managed town.
