What FASTSIGNS did for the Bolton Lads & Girls Club!

Mark Wright, owner of FASTSIGNS® in Bolton recently produced a banner stand for the Bolton Lads and Girls Club called ‘What the Club Does for Me’ to help raise funds.

The design of the banner was originated during a classroom session where the children were asked to relate different the activities they do at the Club to different parts

of the body.  FASTSIGNS took a sheet of paper provided by the pupils with their notes on and turned it into the banner which sums up perfectly what the Bolton Lads & Girls Club does for its members. The banner will be taken to events to demonstrate what the Club does.

Mark Wright, owner of FASTSIGNS in Bolton explains: “We scanned the image and did some redrawing including copying the children’s handwriting style for the finished product. We wanted to make sure the children recognized the picture and their individual contributions.  We’re delighted to have worked with the Club, which provides such excellent facilities for young people in Bolton.”

Bolton Lads & Girls Club was established in 1889 and aims to give children and young people the opportunity to have regular contact with non-judgmental, caring adults who encourage them to be positive and make constructive use of their leisure time.  The club helps young people fulfil their potential, develop their self esteem and start on the road to becoming responsible citizens. Over 3000 children and young people enjoy the club’s facilities and activities each week.

Claire Phillips, the Club’s Fundraising Events Manager said: “We were delighted with the finished banner stand as it is a perfect illustration of the diversity of the Club and how important the work of our charity is to the young people of the town.”
