Company Overview
Established in 1995, TaxAssist Accountants has established a network of almost 200 franchise areas providing a comprehensive range of professional tax and accountancy services to small businesses – sole traders, partnerships and limited companies with a turnover of up to £2 million. Our network services over 52,500 clients and has gross annual recurring fees in excess of £35 million. Our franchisees receive full training and support to enable them to launch, build and manage their own business. We take on accountants as well as senior finance and business professionals. You do not need to be a fully-qualified accountant because you would employ and manage accountants allowing you the freedom to focus on all other areas of business.
Franchise Overview
We have no company-owned outlets or any other source of income, our focus is 100% on franchisee development and we have won numerous industry awards (franchise and accountancy) to demonstrate the strength of our model. With the potential for 400 franchisees across the UK we have new opportunities nationwide and resales available. We are expanding internationally with the success of Ireland we now have one master franchise in Canada. Our next countries we are looking to expand to are Australia, New Zealand and the USA.
Training
Each franchisee receives 43 days training in the first 6 months which includes technical, practice management, marketing, business development and our nurture programme which is hosted by our in house training academy. The initial training course lasts six weeks and is residential at our support centre in Norwich. All training fees, meals and accommodation are included in the franchise fee. Further training is available to franchisees and their staff, both in Norwich and regionally.
Daily Life of a Franchisee
You will be networking with small businesses and business referral partners to generate leads locally, along with following up on enquiries generated via national advertising. Business development will be your initial focus! You will also be building a team of employees, who will be responsible for accounts production, and managing the practice to ensure that it is run in a profitable and compliant manner.
