Mark and Rachel Coldham became franchisees with The Massage Company at the beginning of 2018.

The process starts with finding premises and The Massage Company work with property experts in site finding and supporting the negotiating on lease contracts.

Mark and Rachel found a site fairly quickly in their chosen area and are now in the final few weeks legal contract stage, which include the landlord doing some remedial works on the site.

The Massage Company have a structured plan for opening, so as the premises process gets closer to contract completion to then be able to get in and build the site, Mark starts some of the initial training.

This means that once the site build starts, he knows the business so well that he can start the journey of getting customers, recruiting staff. So when he actually opens the doors he can start trading rather than only building up the customer base at that point.
