The UK’s Seniors Helping Seniors is celebrating it’s sixth franchise

Steve Cowley opened Windsor, Maidenhead and Bracknell this month and joins 300 Seniors Helping Seniors worldwide.

Now people with loved ones in Berkshire have a trusted and innovative care company to rely on and there are exciting, flexible job prospects for local retirees and people who want to work flexibly.

Christian Wilse of Seniors Helping Seniors UK said “Millions of people gain valuable care experience looking after loved ones every year. Steve and Lynn Cowley have run businesses together before.

Steve says “This was the kind of care we needed for my mother when we lived abroad. It was not available then. Once I found it, ‘we bought the company’!”

Steve left his career in teaching to launch Seniors Helping Seniors in Berkshire. Lynn retains her portfolio of managerial roles for other companies.

Steve says, “He felt Seniors Helping Seniors was right for him from his first conversation with Christian. Steve’s family embraced the idea because they love the ethos of the company, and they can see it is a perfect match for Steve’s logistics and people skills.”

It is essential for the Cowleys to be doing good while they are making money. Services for the elderly is the UK’s biggest growth sector.

The pandemic brought care into focus and this service is just what families are looking for,” adding “the home-based operation appealed to me. The training and support is everything I expected it to be. I have a steady stream of clients and carers already and I love feeling I am doing something immensely worthwhile.”
