Meet Ken Pankiewicz – KikFit4Kidz Franchisor

Ken has been practising martial arts for almost 40 years. Today, he’s a well-regarded figure in the martial arts community, both in the UK and internationally.

He is Ranked 7th Dan in KickFit Blend and Blue Belt in Ju-Jitsu under the Valente Brothers. It is Ken’s belief that martial arts should be more than just a physical workout – and instead should be a life-enhancing programme of continuous development and it is this belief that has shaped the KikFit4Kidz ethos.

In classes, students are not only trained in physical martial arts disciplines they also have the opportunity to learn valuable life skills, allowing them to lead more fulfilling lives.

Ken is world renowned for his knowledge of martial arts disciplines and good business practices learned from both inside and outside the industry. Today, KickFit has grown to 6 martial arts schools.

Ken is an international speaker – sharing his knowledge with other martial arts school owners around the world for over 18 years.

KikFit4Kidz

Ken launched his KickFit Martial Arts Schools in 1991 with just one school. He had no real plan and simply worked on a trial-and-error basis, seeing what worked and what didn’t in running his school. There were some successes, but also some costly mistakes, so he is exactly the right person to ensure that you make a success of your KikFit4Kidz franchise.

In 1997, Ken travelled to Orlando to join over 800 other school owners, from different martial arts backgrounds to attend the Educational Funding Company International Conference; this was the turning point for Ken’s business and marked the start of years of continuous learning and development that allowed Ken to build his KickFit brand into the success that it is today. Ken went on to attend many other international conferences and seminars, further increasing his knowledge and making valuable contacts that changed the focus of Ken’s business.

Today KickFit is known for its professional approach and excellent instruction and enjoys fantastic student retention levels with 16% of its membership currently training at Black Belt level.
