Giggle Booth are a wedding specialist photo booth company, hiring our stylish portable photo booths to weddings where we create fantastic personalised guest books using guest photo booth pictures. We started creating fun experiences around the UK in late 2009.

From the beginning we wanted to offer a unique service packed with value that simply could not be found elsewhere. We only operate with the best technology and highest level of service. It is our ethos to pioneer these progressions, therefore we are often the trend-setters in the industry.

Giggle Booth was started in a recession and has shown its strength in a tough economic climate. In early 2012, the company first made public its intentions to franchise. By August, after unveiling an exclusive new Booth design, the company’s first franchisees were launching their branch. Since then, the network has been expanding with more branches opening and with diaries already fully booked for many areas. We are aiming to fill the huge demand for the Giggle Booth brand by opening our franchise opportunity to more people through 2019.

Photo booths are a ‘must have’ feature at weddings across the world, particularly in the UK. Our research shows that over 250,000 weddings take place each year in England and Wales and currently approximately 41% of these will have a photo booth.

Our key indicators report that our industry is worth £50 million and as a company we want to be responsible for at least 5% of that by the end of 2020.

Using a proven business model, with a great product and process in place, you can easily create a very enjoyable and profitable part-time business that is unrivalled in the UK. The business is easily scalable allowing you to start off part-time, and build a business that can replace your current income, and employ others.

What can I earn?

This will largely depend on your circumstances and how much you are willing and able to put into your business. The flexibility of the business model allows you to operate on a part time basis with a smaller turnover, or the more ambitious operator can generate a full time income by producing a bigger turnover.

Once established, you should be aiming for yearly sales of at least £52,000, with more successful franchisees going on to achieve annual sales of over £100,000. The profit margins will vary depending on a few factors, including whether you are using staff to host your events or if you are doing the events yourself.

An average hire price to the customer is in the region of £500 – £700.

As a guide – you should expect to achieve between £200 – £300 per event after your costs. If you booked out 2 booths on just Saturdays for the year this would present between £200 – £400 profit per week, or £10,400 – £20,800 per year.
