KikFit4Kidz is the brainchild of Ken Pankiewicz. Ken has been practising martial arts for close to 40 years and he’s a well-regarded figure in the martial arts community, in the UK and internationally. He is ranked 7th Dan in KickFit Blend and Blue Belt in Ju-Jitsu.

Ken believes that martial arts should be more than just a physical workout, it should be a life-enhancing programme of continuous development and it is this belief that has shaped the KikFit4Kidz ethos.

In the classes, students are not only trained in physical martial arts disciplines they also have the opportunity to learn valuable life skills, allowing them to lead more fulfilling lives.

Training & Support

The KikFit4Kidz training covers all key aspects of running the business; your operational induction will take place at KikFit4Kidz head office over 2/3 days in Slough, followed by a week of martial arts training at a local venue.

The training encompasses essential and practical areas, such as business start-up, sales, marketing, planning and development, as well as technical and operational aspects, and is designed to give you sufficient knowledge to confidently begin trading as a KikFit4Kidz franchise.

The KikFit4Kidz franchise can be run as a ‘hands-on’ owner/operator/instructor operation OR as a ‘hands-off’ management franchise, where you employ qualified instructors while you manage the business. You will get assistance from HQ to find, and negotiate leases for the hire of the locations where you will need to hold your classes; these can be, for example, primary or secondary schools; community centres, or sports centres.

The Ideal KikFit4Kidz Franchisee

You need passion, drive and an ethos based on your desire to educate children in a fun way. You will have a positive attitude and the determination to succeed. You must be good with people and children, as well as be honest, reliable, and keen to run your own business.

Working with children you must be able to pass an enhanced DBS check.

As a hands-on operator, you must also be physically fit and ready for a challenge. The right candidates will be consistently learning new skills and improving all around. For our hands-on owner/operators previous martial arts experience is a bonus, but not essential.
