Franchise Overview

Nielsen has been running a franchise programme since 1969, and currently operates a UK and international network of franchisees and overseas distributors.   We are currently recruiting for franchisees to operate throughout the UK, and have a combination of unoccupied geographical areas for sale and resale opportunities. All our franchises are independently owned, as they provide an excellent opportunity for an entrepreneur looking for their next career step and the chance to be their own boss.

Training

Nielsen understands the importance of training in order to be successful, which is why we run a training programme that covers both how to use the Nielsen products, and the skills to sell them successfully to their customers.  The International Training Academy is a facility where practical product training is provided to gain the skills and knowledge to understand the Nielsen range, as well as to enhance sales ability. 

Daily Life of a Franchisee

A Nielsen franchisee’s role is a combination of making sales calls and conducting demonstrations to potential customers in order to build up their customer base, as well as being out on the road calling on existing customers to increase sales. This is a van sales franchise and the majority of their time is spent on the road.
