Leading French kitchen manufacturer Mobalpa rounded off its 2016 growth plans in the UK by opening its largest kitchen showroom in Walton-on-Thames.

With a £350K investment and creation of four full time jobs, the showroom, based on the High Street, is designed to showcase a modern way of living with kitchen products, open plan areas and storage solutions alongside living and utility space options all displayed in a real setting.

Owned by experienced business partners David Akporehe and Odunola Etuokwu, Mobalpa Walton-on-Thames provides a professional kitchen design and installation service, with full project management. With a background in commercial and retail banking and business consulting, David and Odunola are working with two experienced in-house designers and have plans to continue recruiting, to offer consumers the very latest in kitchen design.

Franchisee David Akporehe said: “I decided to open a Mobalpa franchise in September 2015 after a thorough search for a new business opportunity. I was impressed by the business model and the range of quality products which Mobalpa offers to the market. I was encouraged by the UK team led by Kyle Whittle and Cyril Raberin and their transparency about the opportunity, including the support they provide, was great. My visit to the factory in Thones, France sealed the deal as I got to see the company’s passion for the industry first-hand.

He added: “I’m thrilled with the showroom, which is in the heart of Walton-On-Thames, and with the variety of kitchen and living solutions we have on display. Footfall has been strong with more than 70 visitors in our first month. We hope to offer an exceptional and enjoyable experience and look forward to delivering Mobalpa’s services to our customers.”
