Simon Sturman formed Birkdale Doors in 1992 after being made redundant by a garage door company that had recently sold out to a national manufacturer. From a man in a van paid for with his last wage packet, the company has grown from strength to strength while maintaining the core value that we began with on day one.

From humble beginnings, we have gone from simply buying and selling other suppliers’ products locally to manufacturing our own.

We have been manufacturing products for over 32 years and we have recently developed a new product that uses our door panel technology to create fencing that will last a minimum of 20 years. In fact, we guarantee this!
