There has been a four-fold increase in the number of children and teenagers admitted to hospitals for obesity-related conditions in the last decade. Combating childhood obesity is a massive issue and as a result, government funding is available to schools and education centres to help improve the provision of sports and health related activities.

We help schools to obtain this funding which then allows the school to utilise the experience of our trained Roary Lions Club franchisees. With funding of between £8,000 to £10,000 per year available for each school or education centre this is just one of the many marketing methods available to franchisees.

The franchise offers multiple revenue streams with a wide customer base from schools, nurseries, preschools, children and family centres, mother and toddler groups and childminders.

Training and National Endorsement

Your franchisee package includes a tailor-made training package which comes with National Awarding Body Endorsement from CACHE – The Council for Awards in Care, Health & Education.

The training and associated resources have been devised, tried, tested and refined over a number of years through our work with Early Years, Schools, Children and Families as well as sponsoring and partnering with national campaigns run by the NDNA (National Day Nurseries Association).

Our programme does not require any specific knowledge of yoga but is designed to equip you with all the necessary knowledge, techniques and credibility through national endorsement to practically, safely and successfully establish yourself in the field of yoga provision for children,  including provision to include families and carers.

You will be trained by experts in the field. All training is overseen by our lead trainer who is a Dru Yoga Therapist, a specialist children’s instructor and is Level 3 REPS (The Register of Exercise Professionals). She also has worked with yoga provision in special education and is passionate about sharing her knowledge.
